The History of
Spring of 2016, I returned to WKU after an 8 year break to study Entrepreneurship. At that time, I was a salaried manager at a local grocery distribution center working 40 plus hours per week with many very late nights. My GPA that first semester was an acceptable 3.0, but I felt I could do better with more time to focus on school. I gave my notice and walked away from my safe and stable career. I began operating as a handyman to control my work schedule and the decision paid off. With the added time freedom, I not only placed 3rd in a business pitch competition, but was also named Presidential Scholar for earning a 4.0 GPA with 15 credit hours. Every call my business gets not only helps someone cross an item off their to-do list, but also helps me keep my education in focus. I have big ideas for the future and would like to thank you for helping my dreams come true.
